Highly appreciated! And yes, I am open in giving a talk, conducting a workshop, or work on a project with you. Here is some information on what’s the process and how we can proceed.

Talks

As you could see from the videos of my past talks, they are everything but dry or boring. My talks are informative in an enjoyable way, they provoke and shake, and bring fact based, alternative scenarios to the ones you may be hearing in Europe. And that’s great, because I bring you my Silicon Valley-perspective. I am at making my talks to be a performance for my audiences.

My talks are all paid. No exception. I am a freelancer and don’t get a regular salary deposited into my bank account. Talks are a significant source of my income.

If this question should come up: No, I am not doing talks to ‘advertise my business‘ or ‘create brand awareness.’ I am past this phase. Telling me that this event is an opportunity to be in front of ‘many many decision makers from important industries‘ which ‘will lead to new opportunities‘ doesn’t matter. I don’t like being told how to do my business. The caterer or the event location landlord are not giving you their services for free, because they get ‘exposure.‘

Be honest: why do your attendees come to your event? Because of the good food? Because of the great location? Or rather for the speakers and the interesting talks? Exactly! Why should you expect not to plan some budget for them?

Workshops

My workshops are methodical and contain a lot of practical exercises.Depending on the scope, duration, and other factors, the price is calculated. And the same as with talks: my workshops are certainly not boring.

In the past years, I conducted hundreds of workshops around different topics.

Books

For both talks and workshops we can discuss about books for the attendees. I wrote several of them and the publisher’s discount is normally 40 percent from the cover price.

Projects

I am also available for long term projects, trend scouting, and work on certain topics.
